etly up the Mississippi in order to gain Vicksburg during the night but ran into a mine which blew a hole in the bow. It sunk within minutes.
Nice having a vicarious journey with you. Do you realize how lucjky you are to have Herb as a history buff travelling companion? What is your expected itinerary? Going due west across the deep south to Texas?
